We Don't Guess. We Investigate. We Fix.

Most clinics follow a transactional model — reduce pain, discharge, repeat. We built BodyCare to do the opposite: find the root cause, understand what you need to get back to, and deliver that outcome.

    Why BodyCare exists

Built for the patients everyone else gave up on

After 30 years in clinical practice — from professional football dressing rooms to specialist spinal clinics — one pattern kept repeating: patients arriving frustrated, in pain, and out of options. Not because their condition was untreatable, but because nobody had taken the time to find out what was actually wrong.

That's why BodyCare exists. Not to offer another round of the same treatment that hasn't worked, but to deliver a fundamentally different approach — one that starts with understanding what your injury is stopping you from doing and ends with you doing it again.

We call it transformational care. It means we don't measure success by whether your pain score drops from a 7 to a 5. We measure it by whether you're back on the pitch, back at work, back sleeping through the night — back living the life your injury took away.

    Why Patients Choose BodyCare

When previous treatment hasn't worked, the problem isn't you — it's the approach. Here's what we do differently.

We find the root cause — not just where it hurts

Through specialist assessment, movement analysis, and diagnostic scanning, we identify the actual mechanical dysfunction driving your symptoms. No guessing. No assumptions.

We ask what you need to get back to

Playing sport, getting through a working day, picking up your kids without pain — your goals define your treatment. Not a protocol. Not a generic exercise sheet.

We build a recovery pathway with clear milestones

Every session has purpose. Every milestone moves you closer to your outcome. You'll always know where you are and where you're heading.

We have the clinical tools to match

IDD Therapy spinal decompression, diagnostic ultrasound, HumanTrak 3D motion analysis, manual therapy, sports rehabilitation — the right treatment for the right problem.

We don't build dependency — we build resilience

Our structured approach is designed to resolve your problem and give you the tools to maintain your results independently. The goal is to not need us anymore.

Meet the Team Behind Your Recovery

Every member of the BodyCare team shares the same standard: find the problem, fix it properly, and get you back to full function.

    Lee Petrucci

    Lee Petrucci

    Clinical Director — Founder

For three decades, Lee has been getting people back to doing the things their pain and injuries have taken away. His career began in professional football, specialising in tendon injury and returning elite players to competition — an environment where results are everything and excuses don't exist. That uncompromising standard followed him into private practice. Since opening his first successful clinic in Cambridge in the mid-2000s, Lee has built and led multiple clinic businesses, treating thousands of patients across the full spectrum of musculoskeletal and spinal conditions. He has lectured Anatomy and Physiology for CUMA at Cambridge University, worked closely with the Injured Jockeys Fund supporting beneficiaries living with paralysis and spinal injury after racing falls, and spent many years as a specialist in back pain, sciatica, disc injury, and spinal stenosis. Lee's clinical philosophy is simple: don't guess, investigate. Don't manage symptoms, fix the cause. And don't measure success by pain scores — measure it by whether the patient is back doing what they love. That philosophy is the foundation of BodyCare's transformational care model, and it drives every decision the clinic makes.

Originally from Brittany, France, Thierry moved to Suffolk 24 years ago and has made it home ever since. A passionate and committed runner, it was his own battle with recurrent injuries that sparked his journey into sports therapy — a path that has since helped countless patients reclaim their active lives. He trained as a sports massage therapist in 2019 and has never looked back, building a loyal following of patients who value his intuitive hands-on skills and deep understanding of how the body moves under stress.
